A Beautiful Night

Up here the nights can be so beautiful. There are nights when the sky is clear of clouds and a billion stars come out. I could watch them forever---if it weren't for getting eaten alive by mosquitoes (skeeters)!

Then there are the nights when the creatures of the lake are heading home. Or just hanging out talking to each other.


A loon waits for it's family.

But the really awesome nights are the ones when the moon is full; like it was last night.
